1. 304/316 Architectural Stainless Steel

A fully deployed 3# standard flag (1920x1280mm) acts as a large sail, generating severe dynamic drag at the top of the pole. The stainless steel tube is precision-spun into a continuous conical taper, starting from a Ø136mm base and narrowing to Ø80mm. This specific 2.5mm thick geometry maximizes the section modulus at the base, effectively absorbing the overturning moments generated by the wind.

4. 360° Rotating Finial & Anti-Tangle Hardware

The top assembly features a precision pulley system integrated into a 360° smooth-rotating finial (guide bead system). When wind direction shifts, the entire finial rotates synchronously with the flag. A suspended counterweight rod applies continuous downward tension on the halyard, preventing the flag from wrapping around the mast during turbulent weather.
